Frequently Asked Questions

Why did we build DRIVE Wellness?

The DRIVE Wellness Center was created for the health and well-being of WD employees. Employees are WD’s most important asset, and we want to provide amenities that make it easy for everyone to stay healthy, and create a healthy lifestyle. Access and convenience are cited as the top reasons that employees nationwide do not seek health care – it simply does not fit into their busy daily routines. We want employees to be able to access convenient, concierge-style care at the workplace. As many diseases are lifestyle-related, creating the foundation for health is our top priority.

If you’re enrolled in a Western Digital Anthem Medical plan, DRIVE Wellness works like an “in network” provider with fees dependent on your plan (Anthem I or Anthem II). Any fees paid go toward your plan year deductible and once your deductible is met, you only need to pay the co-insurance.  If you are enrolled in Kaiser, you are welcomed to use the services provided at the Center, but any fees paid do not go towards your annual deductible or co-insurance.  If you waive coverage thru Western Digital, you will have access to the Center and pay the cash fee for services.

You can pay for services using a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) or debit card, which includes your Health Savings Account (HSA) Payment Card.
